Steve Travers of Kentwood Real Estate Contributes to 2001 Colorado Business Economic Outlook from University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business

REENWOOD VILLAGE, CO – December 16, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — Steve Travers, a top-producing real estate professional with Kentwood Real Estate’s Denver Tech Center office, was a contributor to the 46th Annual Colorado Business Economic Outlook just released by the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business.  Travers was invited to assist with the 2011 report’s residential real estate section due primarily to his diverse business background and comprehensive knowledge of the real estate industry in Colorado.

The Colorado Business Economic Outlook is a product of partnerships that rely on research conducted by Business Research Division students and staff at the Leeds School of Business, and by members of the public and private sectors.  The forecast analyzes changes that have taken place in all economic sectors during the past year, while looking at events and activities that will shape the changes in Colorado’s employment and overall economy for the coming year.

“More than 100 individuals from the business, education and government communities who serve on 13 sector estimating groups prepare and submit their sector’s report and forecasts to the Business Research Division where they are edited and published in the final outlook report,” said Travers.  “I was specifically involved in the section dealing with financial activities, and more specifically, residential real estate activity.  It’s a privilege being involved with such an important endeavor from one of the leading business schools in the country.”

The 2011 Outlook Forum was held December 6th at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Denver.  Copies of the 115-page report are available at $75 per copy at the Business Research Division at the University of Colorado at Boulder.  For more information, visit leeds.colorado.edu or phone 303-492-8227.

Travers’ professional background includes serving as an economist and demographer with the Denver Regional Council of Governments, and six years of real estate appraising.  He has been a leading broker associate since 1990 and among the top-producers at Kentwood Real Estate, garnering numerous awards throughout his distinguished career.
