The expansion of the passenger terminal building (phase II) will provide additional space for passenger queuing areas, hold rooms, and central waiting rooms, thereby alleviating congestion during peak travel periods. A separate grant provides $ 75,000 to rehabilitate and re-mark Runway 5/23 on Hopkins Field. Pavement maintenance, including re-marking, on Runway 5/23 (phase I) will extend the useful life of the pavement.
