Team Members Bring 50 Years of Property Management and Tax Credit Experience To New Roles

DENVER – The Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) is pleased to announce that it has hired Natasha Weaver to serve as the Manager of Tax Credit Allocation, Mark Feilmeier as the Manager of Program Compliance, and Heather Staggs as Manager of Section 8 Compliance.

Natasha Weaver has been employed with CHFA for 14 years and most recently served as the authority’s Manager of Program Compliance. Prior to her employment with CHFA, Ms. Weaver worked for a Colorado property management firm overseeing both affordable and conventional properties. She is a recognized expert on the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program and has taught several professional courses on tax credit compliance. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Novogradac Property Compliance Report, and is a member of the Affordable Housing Management Association (AHMA). Ms. Weaver is a graduate of ColoradoStateUniversity and resides in Denver.

Mark Feilmeier has been employed with CHFA for six years and most recently served as the Manager of Section 8 Compliance. He brings over 20 years experience in property management and has taught fair housing courses for several property management associations. Mr. Feilmeier is a member of the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO), the Affordable Housing Management Association (AHMA), and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). He was raised in Colorado and currently lives with his wife and son in Castle Pines North.

Heather Staggs will be rejoining the CHFA team, after being recently employed with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Prior to her work with HUD, Ms. Staggs worked for CHFA for four years as an Asset Management Officer. She brings more than 13 years experience in property management, including a thorough knowledge of multifamily programs and regulations. She is a member of the Affordable Housing Management Association (AHMA) and has served as an instructor for some of their professional training courses. Ms. Staggs is originally from Denver and currently resides in Castle Rock.
