Unprecedented Corporate Volunteer Program Launched by Multi-Family Leaders

One Mission, Fifty Two Charities, 5,200 Volunteer Hours

DENVER , Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ — Simpson Housing LLLP, Apartments.com and Sherwin-Williams have announced a national charitable volunteerism initiative this month, through a new program called, “Simpson’s YOU Make The Difference.”

More than 50 charitable projects are planned, and more than 5,200 volunteer hours will be contributed. Employees are invited to participate in a day of company sponsored volunteer work that ranges from refurbishing emergency housing shelters and apartments to construction work on 19 individual Habitat for Humanity sites to collecting, organizing and packing food supplies at six regional food banks.

Volunteer activities will be coordinated in metro areas across the country, including Atlanta , Austin, Colorado Springs , Dallas , Denver , Phoenix , Portland and Seattle . Some of the regional organizations that will benefit from this program include Food Bank of the Rockies, Atlanta Children’s Shelter, St. Vincent de Paul, Open Door Ministries, Family Homestead, Second Harvest Food Bank, Rose City Schools, Ranch Hope for Boys, Hands on Greenville, Harmony Kitchen and many more.
