Christine Nicholson of Kentwood City Properties Supports Denver Browns Baseball Club

DENVER, CO – June 1, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Christine Nicholson, a leading broker associate with Kentwood City Properties, is providing financial support to the Denver Browns Baseball Club, a local organization dedicated to developing amateur baseball players from Little League age and beyond.  Nicholson became involved with the Denver Browns last year when she listed a home in the historic Stonemason’s Row section of LoHi where Gino Grasso, founder of the Denver Browns, resided.

“I became acquainted with Gino and he shared with me his vision for the team and goals for the organization,” said Nicholson.  “Part of this vision is to grow a youth division, which became a reality this season.  The main team is comprised of former college athletes and some former professional players.  Another primary goal is to grow the Browns organization to a point that provides a high level baseball experience for all age ranges.  The Browns won the 18AAA League Championship in 2010 and are in first place again this season.  It’s a very accessible game experience each Sunday during the season at East High School.  I have made many great friends and contacts through my association with the team and it’s very rewarding to support this excellent organization.”

The Denver Browns was founded in 2007 and is managed by Matthew Repplinger.  In four years, the Browns have produced a 60-25 record and won the NABA 18AAA Championship last year with a record of 20-3.  The organization’s future goal is to establish teams at every level from Little League to collegiate to semi-pro.

The Brown’s mission is to select players based upon playing skill who are also standout members of the community.  East High School, located at 1600 City Park Esplanade, has been the home of the Browns since the 2008 season.  In 1991, East High School was declared an official Denver Historic Landmark by the Denver Landmark Commission and the Denver City Council.
