February 3, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — My wife, Jeanie, and I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with our families, I pray for peace and joy in our homes and hearts.
This has been a difficult year for many Colorado families dealing with layoffs, foreclosures, and falling home values. Many of you are frustrated with the growth of government and want Washington to stop all the spending. Like you, I know that our economy will begin to correct itself only when the government gets out of the way and allows the free markets to work more efficiently.
My family is especially grateful to our men and women in uniform who are fighting to protect our freedoms. Many of them are far from family and friends this Christmas season, and I pray for their strength as they perform the tasks they have been trained and prepared to do.
I appreciate all the prayers on my behalf as I serve you in Washington. Your good wishes and support inspire me daily to be optimistic about this country’s future. May God bless you in the New Year with prosperity and peace.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you in Washington.
