FEMA/STATE DISASTER RECOVERY CENTERS OPEN IN THREE COUNTIES

DENVER – September 20, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) in Boulder, Larimer and Weld counties are open to help survivors with property damage and other setbacks from Colorado’s severe storms, flooding, landslides and mudslides. The DRCs are operated by the Colorado Office of Emergency Management and the Federal Emergency Management Agency in partnership with the county and local Disaster Assistance Centers.

The Larimer and Weld DRCs will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., daily, seven days a week.

The Boulder County DRC will be open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., daily, seven days a week.

Representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Small Business Administration are among the agencies represented at all three of the DRCs to explain assistance programs and help survivors apply for disaster aid.

Survivors with losses from the storms, flooding, mudslide or landslide will save time by registering for help from FEMA before going to the disaster recovery centers.
