March 24, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Gov. John Hickenlooper announced today appointments to the State Agricultural Commission.
The State Agricultural Commission formulates policy with respect to the management of the Department of Agriculture. The commission also advises and makes recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly.
The appointments are dependent upon Senate confirmation. The members appointed are:
- Thomas K. Cameron, Palisade (D), to serve from the Fourth Agricultural District, term to expire March 1, 2015
- Ernest D. Ford, Center (D), to serve from the Third Agricultural District, term to expire March 1, 2015
- Barbara L. Marty, Henderson (R), to serve from the First Agricultural District, term to expire March 1, 2015
- John W. Singletary, Pueblo (D), to serve as the at-large member, term to expire March 1, 2015
- Alvin Kunugi, Blanca (D), to serve as the at-large member, term to expire March 1, 2015.
