Independence Day Family Fun Festival to Benefit Save Our Sundial Project Coordinated and Co-Sponsored by Mor Zucker of Team Denver Homes at Kentwood Real Estate Cherry Creek
DENVER, CO – June 15, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Mor Zucker of Team Denver Homes with Kentwood Real Estate Cherry Creek is helping coordinate and co-sponsor The Independence Day Family Fun Festival scheduled for Thursday, July 2, 2015 in Cranmer Park from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The special fundraising event will benefit Save Our Sundial, a project of the Park People. Ticket sales and donations will help restore Denver’s Sundial and Sundial Plaza, one of Denver’s most iconic landmarks located in Cranmer Park located at 4501 E. 1stAvenue. Team Denver Homes, which includes Zucker’s teammate Eric Grauberger, is a proud sponsor of the family Fun Festival.
The Family Fun Festival will showcase a variety of events for kids and adults alike, including four trampolines from Eurobungy Colorado, and Wands and Wishes, a troupe of professionally trained actors and singers. Attendees will enjoy a three-lane, 24-foot climbing wall, and Party Safari featuring some of the world’s most fascinating creatures. There are confirmed visits from Princess Ariel, Cinderella, Pirate Jack Sparrow and Peter Pan.
The festival will also feature music from Hank Troy and the Sundialers, and Soundhouse’s Soul Confluence, a group of amazing musicians ranging in age from 10 to 18. Following the music, Glendale’s annual fireworks extravaganza will cap the festival with a red, white and blue bang.
“This is such a fun event for families, friends and neighbors,” said Zucker. “Dinner and treats will be available from some of Denver’s finest food trucks, and bottled water and sodas will be available. Each vendor will return a percentage of proceeds to Save Our Sundial, with ticket sales and donations also benefiting the restoration project. Saving our landmarks is important so future generations can enjoy Denver’s history that characterize so many of our spacious parks.”
Funds raised will help The Park People undertake a historically accurate rehabilitation of the sundial landmark. It’s estimated that approximately $1.5 million is needed to complete the restoration. The sundial was originally built on rubble and has no firm foundation, so it has suffered serious damage over the years.
