Congressman Salazar announces $157,639 in funding for affordable housing in La Junta
WASHINGTON, DC - June 18, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- Today U.S. Congressman Salazar announced that $157,639 has been allocated for the La Junta and Otero County Housing Authority. The funding will be used to maintain and upgrade 86 public housing units in the region. The funding comes from the federal Housing and Urban Development’s Capital Fund program, which provides funds annually via a formula to approximately 3,200 public housing agencies across the country

The funding will be used to maintain and upgrade 75 public housing units in Delta County.
